"Londoners travelling on the Bakerloo Tube line on Monday night may have been surprised to find the entire Germany squad on there. Workers on their commutes home were rubbing shoulders with Joachim Low, Per Mertesacker and the rest, as Germany went to a training session.

Germany took the Bakerloo Line to Baker Street, changing there and spending two minutes admiring the silhouette of Sherlock Holmes which decorates the walls there, before getting the Metropolitan line to Wembley Park.”

I’m not a really big football fan, but the fact that the men of the German national team used the tube in London yesterday and changed trains at Baker Street on their way to Wembley somehow made me smile. :)
